Brennan, Texas: Blue Bell Ice Cream plant and lots of Bluebonnets in the Spring. The ice cream is so fresh it was grass only yesterday. The Kruse family are major benefactors to the M. D. Anderson Cancer Center.

The Proton Center has a handout you can ask for called “Houston Attractions” listing Arts & Museums, Entertainment, Fitness Centers, Tours, etc. and a newsletter is available called “Place of Wellness” listing all sorts of activities available at M. D. Anderson.
Places to Stay
On your first visit to the Proton Therapy Center obtain their list of places to stay in the area. The list is long and the prices vary considerably. Several have negotiated better rates than those listed as you have leverage due to your length of stay even if you only return home on the weekends. Before your Simulation Visit makes some calls and during that visit check out several places and try to line one up for your extended stay.
