I had my 2yr post treatment check at the end of April'11. PSA 0.3. So far it's stable. I had 6 months of Lupron.

Joe, I finished my proton treatment on 15 April 2010. My quarterly checkups through April 2011 showed a PSA of <0.1. In October 2011 my PSA was 0.2. Dr. Choi said the examination was excellent and that the prostate felt almost as if it had been removed. I have noticed some rectal bleeding about every three to six weeks for a few days and frequent burning sensation upon urination. Otherwise I have felt great and I have been thoroughly enjoying golf and home brewing. I really appreciate the post on rectal bleeding. It has eased my mind and explained a lot. I only had two treatments of lupron; once in October 2009 and again in March 2010. I still have hot flashes occasionally but it is no problem.

Skip and Thomas - I'd like to interest you in the use of the bulletin board that I had installed last year. My reason for starting this up again is I find Dave Stevens research and talks very valuable and I'd like to do what I can to leverage off of his good work. It's been suggested that we record and distribute voice over PowerPoint slides but because of a few drawbacks we ruled this out for now. I'd like to promote the use of this forum, it seems to work, and I'll be monitoring it. He's planning to give one talk to every class on a rotating basis and discussion and teachings will spring from the talks using the discussion board as a vehicle.
Let me know if you can participate and if you'd like to lead or co lead a topic.
